Leaf spring bushings connect the leaf springs of a commercial vehicle with its chassis. They are cylindrical in shape and mounted at the end of the leaf springs, therefore also known as leaf spring eye mounts.

These bushings withstand enormous torsional and radial loads and at the same time do not require regular lubrication. They are therefore completely maintenance-free. They have an innovative, additional sliding layer that enables all torsion angles that occur, while withstanding the high load profiles of these special applications. A washer element limits the maximum radial, axial and cardanic movement to prevent harm to the leaf springs.

The leaf spring bushings require the same installation space and are the same weight compared to conventional lubricated bronze bearings, while also providing the same NVH performance. Therefore, they provide significant cost and maintenance advantages without compromising other performance criteria.

About Chassis Mounts

In the transportation industry, cargo and goods need to be delivered on the road over long distances as quickly and safely as possible without incurring damage for both the vehicle and load.

Products to reduce Noise, Vibration and Harshness in commercial vehicle chassis applications need to be effective, durable and reliable as they operate under high loads and stresses. Chassis mounts for trucks, busses, tractors and trailers control vibrations and absorb shocks transmitted from the road surface into the chassis of the vehicle.
